    The Date Alchemy is committed to providing a discreet, respectful, and personalized matchmaking experience. These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and mutual accountability between our clients and our team. By enrolling in The Date Alchemy's matchmaking service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

    1. Membership and Matchmaking

    • The Date Alchemy is a personalized matchmaking service, not a dating app. Matches are made based on compatibility, mutual interest, availability, and feedback.
    • As a benchmark, for the 1 year membership, we aim to arrange 4–5 quality matches in a year. There is no upper limit on the number of matches.
    • The pace and frequency of your matches may vary depending on your criteria, responsiveness, and feedback from previous matches.
    • Persistent follow-ups or pressure on our team to arrange matches more frequently than reasonably possible will not be entertained. We are actively looking for all our clients and will immediately get back to them whenever we have a sufficiently good match.

    2. Customer Experience Policy

    To maintain a high standard of experience for all clients, you agree to abide by the following behavioural rules:

    i. Date Commitment

    Once a date is mutually agreed upon (including timing and venue), cancellations or modification requests should be extremely limited.

    • Three (3) such instances per membership year (regardless of reason) will result in immediate termination of your membership without refund.

    ii. Respectful Conduct on Dates

    Clients must act with respect, courtesy, and appropriate boundaries.

    • Any use of inappropriate language, sexually suggestive remarks, or unwelcome advances on the first date (unless clearly and mutually consensual) may result in immediate termination of your membership without refund.

    3. Communication Protocol

    • All official communication will take place via email or WhatsApp text messages.
    • Phone calls will not be entertained unless it is an emergency during a scheduled date.
    • Please respond to all date feedback, match suggestions, and scheduling messages within 1–2 working days. Failure to do so may result in your profile being "deprioritized" in the matching queue.
    • Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Mauritius time). We typically respond within 24 hours.

    4. Confidentiality and Privacy

    • Clients agree not to share identifiable information, photos, or personal details about other The Date Alchemy members outside of the matchmaking process.
    • The Date Alchemy will treat all personal information and communications as confidential, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    5. Falsification and Misrepresentation

    • Falsification of any information provided to The Date Alchemy — including age, marital status, identity, background, or the submission of altered or fraudulent government-issued documents — will result in immediate termination of membership without refund. Where applicable, such conduct may also be reported to relevant legal or governmental authorities.

    6. Refunds and Membership Pauses

    • All sales are final. The Date Alchemy maintains a strict no-refund policy under any circumstances. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you acknowledge that by accessing our database and receiving bespoke matching services, you waive any statutory "cooling-off" periods.
    • Subscription duration and benchmarks (e.g., 4–5 dates) are defined as best-effort obligations, not guarantees of outcome or compatibility.

    7. Limitations of Liability

    • The Date Alchemy shall not be liable for emotional distress, missed opportunities, reputational harm, or other indirect damages.
    • While we take all necessary measures for matches verification — including face-to-face interviews and the submission of government-issued identification — The Date Alchemy cannot be held liable for any actions, omissions or misrepresentation committed by matches.
    • In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree that any claim made against The Date Alchemy shall be limited strictly to the total fee paid by you for the service.
    • You agree to indemnify Frolic Ltd against any legal costs or damages arising from your breach of these terms.

    8. Defamation and False Reviews

    • Clients are welcome to provide constructive criticism via direct feedback channels.
    • However, publishing fabricated, false, or malicious statements online or via public platforms may constitute defamation. The Date Alchemy reserves the right to pursue legal remedies in such cases, including seeking damages and injunctive relief.

    9. Disclaimer

    • The Date Alchemy does not guarantee romantic compatibility, relationship outcomes, or marriage. The service is based on human judgment, personal feedback, and available data at the time of matching.
    • Clients acknowledge that human behaviour is unpredictable, and the company cannot be held responsible for the conduct of individual matches.

    10. Agreement

    By signing up for The Date Alchemy's services, you acknowledge that:

    • You have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
    • You are legally competent to enter into this agreement.
    • Any violations of the terms above may result in service suspension or termination without refund.

    Legal Entity

    The Date Alchemy is a service operated by Frolic Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Mauritius (BRN: C23201149). All payments, contractual obligations, services, and liabilities are fulfilled by Frolic Ltd under The Date Alchemy brand.
